What is SpeedAPP.

It’s an EIC-funded deep-tech project developed by FAST Computing and born from the ARGOS research initiative at SISSA.

The platform revolutionizes engineering simulations for industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and manufacturing by combining Reduced Order Modelling (ROM) and advanced Graph Neural Operators (GNOs).

Unlike traditional simulation methods such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), SpeedAPP enables real-time prediction of complex physical systems while drastically reducing computational costs, delivering simulation speedups of up to 250× without compromising accuracy.

Industrial Proof-of-Concept validations demonstrated the potential for:

60%up to 60% shorter product design cycles
20–25%lower material and production costs
20%lower energy consumption in manufacturing processes

Supported by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Transition programme, SpeedAPP is advancing toward large-scale industrial commercialization.
